Does Beachcomber offer Airport Transfers ?   No, Beachcomber does not offer an airport pick-up. 

Cabs ( large vans) are lined up and waiting just outside the airport terminal - a taxi dispatcher will

get your cab and you will be given a receipt with the cab fare to The Beachcomber - US$ 25 - $ 30

for a party of 4 -- cost is slightly higher for more than 4 persons.  You are about a 10 - 15 minute cab ride

to The Beachcomber and the Glorious Seven Mile Beach !!

You may also pick up a rental car at the airport - rental offices are located across the street from the terminal.

 

Does Beachcomber provide hair dryers and irons / ironing board ? Washers / Dryers ? Yes ! 

All apts. have hair dryers and standard size ironing boards and irons. 

The washers and dryers are located on both sides of the complex for guest's use. 

Coin operated : US or CI $ 2.00 for 20 minute wash and US or CI $ 2.00 for 20 minute dry time.

We have change in the office !

 

Does Beachcomber have TV / DVD / CD / VCR players ?  Yes !  All apts. have 2 or more TVs,

DVD players - CD / Cassette tape Players and VCR players. Beachcomber has Cable TV with

over 35 channels offered - all major networks, CNN, ESPN, Nickelodeon, Disney, HBO and more...

There is a Blockbuster Video store located just down the street from Beachcomber, for DVD/VCR rentals.

 

Do I need to bring my own beach towel ?  No,  The Beachcomber provides large Beach Towels,

Fresh, Daily - at no extra charge !   Daily maid service is provided ( except Sunday) Fresh Bath Towels,

are provided daily !  Bed Linens are provided and are changed every 3rd day.

 

Do I need to rent a crib and highchair ?  No,  The Beachcomber provides Standard size Cribs and

Highchairs at no extra charge !  Sheets and bumpers are provided.

 

Will I be able to buy baby food and baby supplies near by The Beachcomber ?  Yes !  Foster's Food Fair is located just across the street from Beachcomber - open 7:00 am - 11:00 pm - Foster's is an IGA

grocery store - just like a large American grocery with a fruit / salad / soup Bar - Deli - Fish Market and

Pharmacy !

Can I get Internet Access at the The Beachcomber ?  Yes !  Internet Access is available at The Beachcomber! 56K dial-up Internet Access is available through Cayman Online. This is the fastest available on the island.  The cost is US$ 0.15 per minute with a minimum total usage of 100 minutes. Visa or Mastercard is required for billing.
